Been listening to a lot RADIOHEAD these days. Comforting and idiosyncratic. There's something about them that really is comfortably different. There songs have emotions and yet are genuinely imaginative.
These aren't tick-tock catchy pop tunes that all the bimbos and jerk offs listen to. It's artistic, in true sense. When I talk about Led Zeppelin or Floyd I feel the same.
The Powerhouse of emotion in "Fake Plastic trees" or the self-deteriorating "creep" they have a certain element that agrees with you.
"Paranoid Android" or "National Anthem" every song has its moods and imaginations.
Put on your ear-phones, switch off the lights, close your eyes and listen to Radiohead.
You just don't listen, you imagine, you see unseen colours, and move along the songs.
"Karma Police" or "No Surprises", you've to learn to appreciate them and once you do that, there's no turning back.
RADIOHEAD. That sums it. Like 'em. Love 'em. Hate 'em. You don't know shit, go back to your shitty pop music.

What a load of pretentious sexist bollocks. I'm no bimbo but I love my Sugababes fix. Fluffy pop music has its place. And in actual fact has more production intelligence than you give it credit. Multitracking and Mixing of a Sugababes song can take a month, for a team of up to three people.
Radiohead's brand of lo-fi neo-prog is hugely ovverated. Thom Yorke and his mates are not even on the same plane of either the great Brill Building songwriters like Mitchell, King, or Bacharach, or arthouse composers like Brecht, Weil, or Leonard Cohen. Compositionally and lyricaly they suck. They are a nihilistic indulgence. I'm frankly sick of Channel 4 and co shoving Radiohead and Nirvana down our throats just to patronise the appetites of macho-minded saddos. Radiohead are not in the league as Floyd or The Beatles.
The late Laura Nyro totally blows away Radioheads huffing n puffing with only a whisper. She is a thousand times more arthouse than Radiohead ever will be.. But then she did 'feminine' music, in a world of asshole lofi guitar masturbators, there is no accurate representation. You and others, rate Radiohead. I dont. Im not the only musician who feels this way either.
